Offer Vocational Training

Recruiting Trainees

International and Specialized Services (ZAV) of the Federal Employment Agency recruits for the project providers of the programme – also with local events – young people from abroad who are interested in training. In this regard, the ZAV and the project providers work closely together.

The ZAV advises participants about the possibilities of vocational training in Germany and informs them of the preconditions they must fulfil.

The ZAV brings together interested trainees and the selected project providers or employers. This happens as follows:

  • If you are interested in trainees within the framework of the promoted project: Your notice of interest must be submitted before or on 30 September; this includes a project outline. The form for this can be found on this website.
  • From mid-November a decision is made as to which projects should be promoted.
  • The selected project providers are immediately informed; the project application must be submitted before or on 30 December.
  • If your project is selected, the ZAV steps in to help you.

Vocational training pays off… also for employers

Training young people is an investment in the future. The looming lack of skilled workers cannot be overcome by recruiting skilled workers from abroad alone. The companies themselves are responsible to train their own future skilled workers and thus securing the supply of qualified skilled workers in the long run. The National Pact for Training and Supply of Specialised Young Workers in Germany (Nationaler Pakt für Ausbildung und Fachkräftenachwuchs in Deutschland) is a step in the right direction. In this pact, umbrella organisations from the German economy and the German government have committed themselves to providing 60,000 new vocational training positions every year.

Give young people a chance in your company and thus offer them a professional perspective.
